BASIC-256 is a handy, easy to use tool designed to use traditional control structures like for / next, gosub, and goto, which helps kids easily see how program flow-control works. BASIC-256 has a built-in graphics mode which lets them draw pictures on screen in minutes, and a set of detailed, easy-to-follow tutorials that introduce programming concepts through fun exercises. Note: The portable version of the application can be downloaded here. Requirements: · 48MB Ram · 15MB Hard Drive Space · MinGW, GNU Flex and Bison (if compiling) What’s New  · Built new Windows installer and LINUX/MAC TAR archive. This version includes the new user interface control statements and corrections to the off-line help viewing.
